Tonight it is quiet.  It's 11:22pm, and all I hear is the dryer going, the stupid western channel, Gramps smacking on chicken, and my fingers typing.  I think I'll reflect on my blessings these last couple of days instead of the negatives.

You ever have one of those days when you just get up in the morning and you already have a feeling of .......ugh.   Or, dread.....or sadness?  I'm feeling that today.  Totally overwhelmed.  Actually waiting for the next thing to break down, wear out, or injure me.

If I didn't have any bad luck I wouldn't have any luck at all.  You would not believe my luck this weekend.

This might be the most boring Blog yet.  Nothing major or terribly exciting has happened in our life.  No body has gone to the ER, no car accidents, no fires.  The tub drain broke I guess.  Ooops, I got a little impatient with the rate of drain and hit it a little hard (don't tell my hubby).  So, I'm not perfect.  I'm impatient.   

We do have Gramps living with us now.  For a short period of time he will be a member of this household.  He started a new job today.  I feel like I have another child sometimes.  He gets

Today was challenging.  The first challenging thing was my stupid new lifestyle.  This idiotic idea of thinking before I eat.  Whatever.  I'm fat, and I'm always going to be fat.  I'm sure of it.  I did pretty good with counting the points until my mind went on vacation and I devoured tortilla chips and salsa, and peanut brittle in about 2 minutes

Today is the day.  THE DAY.  I started another diet.  Wait, I need to rephrase that.  I am starting today to "rethink" what I eat, and to go excercise, and journal.  Maybe if I don't think I'm on a diet, I'll succeed this year.  Obviously, I haven't succeeded in years past.  :)

I am a little sad feeling today.  Overwhelmed

As I sit typing this I'm smelling burnt plastic still.  Yep, burned plastic.  I didn't realize that my sweet little 5 year old son, chef in the making, decided to put a tupperware plate in my bottom oven.  I'm fortunate to have dual wall ovens.  However, the top oven will not heat over 250-275 degrees.  The bottom oven now is scorched with plastic.

It's late, well after the time I should be in bed.  Why do I do this to myself?
